Hi there!

My name is Alicia Hunt and I welcome you to my little corner of the world!

I am a Catholic convert who loves her husband, her son, and discussing how multiple concepts truly are related.  (You can see those relationships much better at a 12:30 AM feeding – which is why I started my first blog several years ago.)  I enjoy running around outside barefoot and blowing bubbles with my son.  I am also known for making delicious chocolate chip cookies for my husband and then pretending not to know how they all disappeared before he has even eaten six.

I am known as the hippie mom and the hippie teacher – but I will be the first to admit to a mild addiction to mocha frappes and probably let my little dude watch too much television at times.  We’re working on that.

While I would love to imagine that this blog will end up being full of profound thoughts, I make no such promises.  What I will say is that you are guaranteed an honest, potentially thought-provoking read that (hopefully) leaves you feeling encouraged or at least knowing you are not alone – that somewhere in this world, I am also looking frantically for my keys (again) as well.

“For this reason, I [Paul] bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.  I pray that, according to the riches of His glory, He may grant that you may be strengthened with power through His Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.  I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.  Amen.”

~ Ephesians 3: 14-21
